Built into the earth bank, this Grade II Listed building had been allowed to fall into decay before a complete refurbishment scheme was designed to fully restore the property.

Stonehouse installed a Type C cavity drain membrane system to all walls and floor. This was extended to run under the concrete ceiling as a secondary level of protection. We were able to utilise a cavity drain system by including a significant fall and adequate structural support which will avoid water being held within the membrane.

The finished building now provides comfortable and welcome shelter from sun, wind and rain throughout the year in these beautiful surroundings.
